Receive Funding for New Pitch

Coagh United is currently playing in IFA Champsionship 1. The club founded in 1970 hails from Coagh, near Cookstown in County Tyrone. The football club secured National Lottery funding for a new floodlit training pitch through 'Sports Northern Ireland.' The major works of the pitch was completed in July 2009. There will be an offical opening of the new training pitch in 2010.The Sports lottery fund has been distributing lottery funds to sports in Northern Ireland since 1995. Since this time £50 million has been awarded through a range of capital and revenue programmes.
