The use of Weldmesh Gabion systems as an effective solution to combat erosion and to stabilise and strengthen embankments has been in evidence for several decades. Rivers, coasts, roads and railways can all be subject to continuous or fluctuating erosion, demanding planned defences that counteract the forces involved. Betafence Gabion Systems have been used in many modern civil engineering schemes to provide economic and effective solutions.

This programme has been carried out in conjunction with our partners Hesco Bastion Limited based in Leeds, UK who have been responsible for developing and patenting the unique Hesco Concertainer range of systems.
