PPE Safety Equipment and Fall Restraint

The stocked range of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety body harnesses, lanyards and rescue equipment has complemented our entire range of access products. Safety is paramount at Ridgeway Access with all staff trained to the highest standards, helping to ensure a mature working knowledge of all equipment. The introduction of an approved training licence to train on the safe use of mobile towers and workplace health and safety is an example of commitment to train site users of our equipment to a confident level.

1 Point Fall Arrest Harness
Fully adjustable. Rear attachment harness. Dorsal attachment D Ring: 1 Conforms to EN 361.
3 Point Fall Arrest Harness
Fully adjustable. Front and rear attachment harness. Dorsal attachment D Ring: 1 Lateral attachment D Ring: 2 Conforms to EN 361.
Y-Lanyard
Twin tailed lanyard. Length 1m. Conforms to EN 354.
Scaffold Harness
One dorsal attachment point with connected 1.75m shock-absorbing lanyard and 50mm opening automatic snap hook. Conforms to EN 361, Also available with webbing lanyard. EN 354 and EN 355.
Rescue Harness
One dorsal attachment D ring. One rescue D ring. Two sternal attachment D rings for fall arrest. Conforms to EN361 and EN1497
2M Shock Absorbing Lanyard
Lanyard (2m) with energy absorber and two screw locking karabiners, opening 17mm. Conforms to EN 354 & EN 355. Available in webbing or rope.
2M Restraint Lanyard
Non-shock absorbing rope lanyard 2M complete with 2 thimbles. Conforms to EN354.

50mm Snap Hook (Scaff Hook)
Double lock aluminium snap hook with 50mm opening. Conforms to EN 362.

Connector - Manucroche - Large
Steel snap hook autolocking with 140mm opening. (SS142 110mm opening) Conforms to EN 362.
Fall Arrest Block - Inertia Block
Self retractable fall arrester (12m) with galvanised steel cable, Karabiner and composite anti-shock casing. Conforms to EN 360. (Availabilty 6m length)
Inertia Block with Rescue Facility
Self retractable fall arrester with rescue facility. Maximum length 15m. Galvanised steel cable. Conforms to EN 360 and EN 1496 Class B
Rescue Tripod
Ultra light mobile tripod with four attachment point. Conforms to EN 795 Class B. Max Load : 500kg.

Pulley for Rescue System & Tripod
Rescue winch with galvanised or stainless steel cable, available in 20m length. Must be used with self-retractable fall arrester. Max load: 600kg
Temporary Lifeline System - 10M
Supplied in 10m kit c/w two hooks and tensioner. Conforms to BS EN 795 : 1997. With a pre-tension of 12kN max deflection at 10m is 2.27m and at 20m is 4.22m.

Connector - Manucroche - Medium
Steel snap hook autolocking with 110mm opening. (SS141 140mm opening) Conforms to EN 362.

Verticle Rope 20m
20M rope 14mm rope. Comes with karabiner AJ501. Also avaliable in 5m, 10m, 25m, 30m and 50m lengths. Conforms to EN 353-2.

Verticle Rope Grab
Rope grab to suit 14mm rope. Conforms to EN353-2
2M Shock Absorbing Lanyard + Scaff
2M webbing shock absorbing lanyard, complete with one screw gate karabiner and 50mm scaffold snap hook. Conforms to EN362
Y-Shape Shock Absorbing Lanyard +
Y-Shaped shock absorbing lanyard, complete with one screw gate karabiner and 2 x 50mm scaffold hooks. Conforms to EN362
Fall Arrest Harness and Belt
Full body fall arrest harness complete with work positioning belt. Dorsal Attachment D ring: 1 Positioning belt with accessory holders and 2 attachment points for a restraint system. Fully adjustable. Comforms to EN361
Anchor Sling
1.5m Polyester strap ring (webbing). Conforms to CE0086 and EN 795.
Vertical Rope 10M
10m rope, 14mm diameter. Comes with karabiner AJ501. Also available in 5m, 20m, 25m, 30m and 50m lengths. Conforms to EN 353-2

Twist Lock Karabiner
Aluminium karabiner with 17mm opening. Conforms to EN 362.
