In recession “word of mouth” may make or break you, and “Cowboys” go bust fastest, so:
- It is tempting for customers to cut costs, and go for cheaper materials, but they will appreciate it if you can warn them of the future costs of lower quality work. Of course they might not be able to afford the best in the short term, but at least if they decide to go for the cheap option when the maintainence or replacement costs hit them in a few years time they won't blame you!
